Jag's Catherine Bell gets a high-flying birthday. There was Caribbean food and a country-rock band, but if the mix suffered an identity crisis, the partyers at JAG star Catherine Bell's 30th birthday were of one mind about having fun. "I like fun!" said the birthday girl (Major MacKenzie on the show), working in an Hervé Léger dress as she accepted best wishes from such JAGsters as Patrick Labyorteaux and Karri Turner in her San Fernando Valley home. After a rooftop dinner, the High Lonesome revved up dance riffs, breaking only for Bell's husband, actor Adam Beason, to present his wife with her gift: Hanging on the wall was a photo of Greta Garbo that Bell had admired in a gallery. She barely uttered thanks before a cake appeared, accomponied by a rowdy "Happy Birthday" that left no room for regrets about the big event. "I still get carded," Bell laughed. "It's totally about how you feel."
