All work, no play: JAG regular Catherine Bell says her vacation to Jamaica
was cut short before she could even begin to get into her groove. Just
four days after arriving, Bell was offered the role in CBS's upcoming
Cab to Canada. ''It was the first time I didn't have to audition for something."
In the tele-pic, she says, ''Maureen O'Hara's character takes a cab from
Pasadena to Canada, and it ends up being a little bit of a Driving Miss
Daisy thing. I'm the cabdriver' s (Jason Beghe) girlfriend and the cab
dispatcher." Bell went from Cab to Canada right into .TAG shooting. She
says she expects to see a lot more action this go-round, literally. ''I
started kickboxing about eight years ago, and I get to do a lot more of
that this season." CBS is heralding the new season with a special JAGathon,
" airing the show for five consecutive nights this week.
